He also criticised Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, stating that if he cannot stand against terrorists, he should not stand with them either.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Chaudhry accused PTI of having resettled militants during its tenure, claiming that today’s security challenges stem from those decisions.

He also noted that PTI did not attend the NSC meeting, despite rising terrorist threats in the country.

Taking aim at Ali Amin Gandapur, Chaudhry condemned his statement that no military operation would be allowed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, calling it deeply concerning.

He further criticised Imran Khan, pointing out that he took a week to condemn the Jaafar Express attack, and that PTI has failed to take a clear stance on terrorism.

The minister reaffirmed that security forces are working tirelessly to defend the nation and that no negotiations will be held with armed militants.

He also rejected claims of a new operation, stating that Pakistan will fully implement “Azm-e-Istahkam” and the National Action Plan.

Chaudhry stressed that most terrorist incidents are occurring in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, urging the public to differentiate between those fighting terrorism and those enabling it.

He highlighted that despite PTI ruling Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the past 13 years, effective counterterrorism measures have not been implemented.
