According to a report by The Times of Israel, an Israeli Air Force reserve navigator publicly announced on social media that he would not report for reserve duty due to the renewed war in Gaza. Following his statement, the Israeli Air Force discharged him from service.

The reserve navigator, identified as Elon Gur, stated in his post that he had informed his superiors of his decision not to continue serving, declaring that the Israeli government had “crossed a line.”

He criticised the leadership for prioritizing political interests over the safety and well-being of its citizens, adding that the value of human life had been completely disregarded.

In response, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) issued a statement confirming that the aircrew member’s reserve service had been permanently terminated.

Meanwhile, Israel has resumed large-scale attacks on Gaza, deploying air and artillery strikes across the region. According to Palestinian authorities, these strikes have killed more than 400 Palestinians and left hundreds more wounded.
