Khushdil was penalised 50% of his match fee for violating Level 2 of the ICC Code of Conduct.

The incident occurred during the match when he made physical contact with New Zealand’s Zakary Foulkes. Along with the fine, he was handed three demerit points.

Under ICC regulations, a player accumulating four or more demerit points within 24 months faces possible suspension. However, Khushdil has accepted his mistake.

Meanwhile, New Zealand dominated the first T20 match, defeating Pakistan by nine wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.
