Her body was discovered in a field, with initial investigations revealing a shocking story of deception and betrayal.

According to police reports, the victim had left Karachi a few months ago to marry a man she met on Facebook. The suspect, identified as Mahmood, was arrested just hours after the body was found.

The girl’s remains were discovered on March 11 in a field near the village of 126/15-L. The case initially posed a significant challenge for law enforcement, but a swift joint operation by the City Police and CIA Police led to Mahmood’s arrest.

Investigators revealed that Mahmood, who worked in a Faisalabad textile mill, had developed a relationship with the victim over the phone and on social media.

Convinced of his love, she traveled to Faisalabad and later to Mian Channu, intending to marry him. However, when she became pregnant, Mahmood allegedly refused to take responsibility.

Fearing consequences, the suspect reportedly lured her to a secluded field, where he strangled her to death before fleeing the scene. Police, tracking his movements, eventually captured him in Bahawalnagar.
