According to an inquiry committee report, records of medical stores and consumer purchases have also gone missing, while the store in-charge, Niaz Khaskheli, has fled after his bail was rejected.

The corruption scandal, which involves over Rs350 million worth of medicines, was brought to light through an inquiry committee formed by the Sindh Chief Minister.

Aaj News has obtained a copy of the report, which reveals that records from the hospital’s IT department, consumer logs, and medical store records have disappeared.

Assistant Medical Superintendent (AMS) Dr Nasrullah Khan stated that he had signed routine documents without awareness of any irregularities.

Meanwhile, the store in-charge, Niaz Khaskheli, failed to record his statement and went into hiding after his bail was denied.

He is accused of involvement in large-scale misappropriation of hospital medicines.
