PM Shehbaz stated that the recent expansion of the cabinet would enhance government efficiency.

He credited the country’s economic stabilisation to the efforts of his team and the support of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), whose delegation is currently visiting Pakistan for discussions. He reaffirmed the importance of the IMF programme in driving national progress.

The prime minister also pointed out that the agriculture, trade, and IT ministries play a crucial role in boosting economic growth.

He announced that ministerial performance reviews would be conducted every three months and that the public would be kept informed about the government’s progress.

Addressing security concerns, PM Shehbaz paid tribute to the sacrifices of security forces, stating that officers and soldiers are laying down their lives daily in the fight against terrorism. He reiterated that peace remains the foundation of Pakistan’s economic aspirations.

In a positive economic update, the prime minister noted that remittances reached $3.1 billion this month, calling it an encouraging sign for the country’s financial outlook.
