However, he acknowledged the president’s concerns over the issue of diverting water from the Indus River, saying the government’s plan to extract canals from the river is unjustified.

He added that a resolution will be passed against this move.

Speaking on Aaj TV’s programme “News Insight with Aamir Zia”, Murtaza emphasised that holding free and fair elections would resolve many of Pakistan’s issues and pave the way for economic progress.

Additionally, he accused Ali Amin Gandapur of making statements against JUI-F as part of a broader agenda.

Meanwhile, PTI MNA Shandana Gulzar claimed that 80% of Pakistan stands with PTI’s founder.

She argued that PTI’s governance was significantly better than PML-N’s, highlighting that despite financial constraints, PTI still managed to deliver.

Gulzar further asserted that Asif Ali Zardari is not the legitimate president of Pakistan, questioning the validity of his election due to incomplete assemblies.

She called for all political parties to join the Tahaffuz-e-Ayeen Pakistan Tehreek (Movement for the Protection of the Constitution) and announced plans for nationwide protests after Eid in support of Imran Khan and Pakistan.
