Speaking to the media after a parliamentary session, she said, “People have become aware of the difference between disrespect, incivility, and real public service. They want progress and solutions to their problems, especially relief from inflation.”

Maryam Nawaz emphasised that the country’s economy is improving and that opposition parties are more focused on political grandstanding than addressing public issues.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti lauded the president’s speech at the joint parliamentary session, calling it a reflection of the nation’s aspirations.

Addressing the media, Bugti said, “The president comprehensively addressed governance, education, healthcare, and other critical public concerns. His vision is a promising sign for Pakistan’s future.”

He criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers for their behaviour, accusing them of continuing their “non-democratic practices” and being fixated on personality-driven politics.

“Non-democratic attitudes cannot derail the country’s progress,” Bugti asserted, adding that former President Asif Ali Zardari’s political acumen remains unmatched.
