Speaking on Aaj TV’s programme “Insight with Amir Zia”, he expressed satisfaction over the condemnation of his arrest.

Afaq Ahmed accused the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) of worsening the city’s condition along ethnic lines.

“Speaking up for the city is difficult for those bound by Form 47,” he remarked, referring to electoral constraints.

Addressing MQM factions, he stated that there is no need to engage with individuals who have split from the party’s founder.

“I will speak directly to the boss, not his representatives,” he asserted.

Reiterating his stance, Afaq Ahmed maintained that his statement had no ethnic bias.

“Every city belongs to its people. Others are here merely for employment,” he concluded.
