Speaking on Aaj TV’s programme “News Insight with Amir Zia,” he stated that 90% of Pakistanis support PTI founder Imran Khan, who remains imprisoned for the survival of democracy.

He emphasised that Imran Khan holds the country’s only real street power, and if elections were held today, PTI’s founder would emerge victorious.

He added that despite two years of efforts, authorities have failed to separate the people from Imran Khan.

Referring to the February 8 elections, Abbas claimed that the public had already staged a revolution by voting overwhelmingly for PTI despite severe restrictions.

He further stated that the current government has been exposed and has completely failed in governance.

The MWM chief criticised the pressure on the government regarding the 26th constitutional amendment, describing the current situation as Pakistan’s worst crisis since 1971.

He highlighted the deteriorating conditions in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, calling for restoring constitutional rule to save the country.

Abbas warned that silencing dissent and criticism would only push Pakistan backward.

He urged the ruling authorities to prioritise dialogue, grant constitutional rights to all, and work towards national unity for the country’s stability.
