Authorities have also sent the suicide bomber’s remains for DNA testing, while police have secured CCTV footage as part of the probe.

Significant progress has been made in the investigation, as officials confirm that securing CCTV footage and recording victim statements are now complete.

Law enforcement and intelligence agencies have gathered statements from more than 50 people.

Authorities are also seeking assistance from mobile service providers and are working on tracing call records to track any possible leads.

The attack took place on February 28, during Friday prayers in Nowshera, when a suicide bomber targeted the mosque of Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak.

The explosion claimed the lives of seven people, including Maulana Hamidul Haq, son of Maulana Samiul Haq, and left 16 others injured.

Officials attributed the attack to terrorists from the khawarij insurgent network.

Following the bombing, an emergency was declared in all hospitals across Peshawar.
