Among those apprehended are eight high-profile criminals listed in FIA’s Red Book.

According to the agency’s latest performance report, the operation was conducted on the directives of the Federal Interior Minister to dismantle human smuggling rings operating across the country.

The report reveals that FIA has made significant progress in tracking and arresting individuals involved in recent migrant boat tragedies.

The agency successfully arrested 19 fugitives connected to the 2023 Greece boat disaster, while 18 human traffickers linked to the 2024 Greece boat incident were also taken into custody.

Additionally, 10 agents responsible for the 2025 Morocco boat tragedy have been arrested.

As part of its efforts, FIA seized properties worth Rs661.63 million, while bank accounts containing Rs73.51 million linked to human trafficking activities were frozen.

The agency also issued 26 Red Notices through Interpol to capture suspects involved in cross-border trafficking networks.

Authorities have intensified surveillance at all major airports, ensuring that human smugglers attempting to flee the country are apprehended.

FIA officials have vowed to use all available resources to track and dismantle these networks.

A spokesperson for the agency stated that the crackdown will continue until all perpetrators are brought to justice.

FIA teams remain in close contact with trafficking victims, offering legal and logistical support.

Officials have assured that strict legal action will be taken against those involved, with efforts underway to eliminate human smuggling networks at an international level.
