High-level consensus on talks

This announcement follows a high-level meeting in Peshawar chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, where political and religious leaders unanimously agreed that peace in Pakistan is directly linked to peace in Afghanistan.

The meeting also resolved that official negotiations with Afghanistan on counter-terrorism will commence soon.
