      <title>CJP Afridi restructures case management committee</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi has restructured the Case Management Committee, which he would lead himself.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The newly established six-member committee comprises Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan, Shahid Bilal Hassan, and Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Moreover, the additional registrar and the IT director are also part of the committee. The reformation seeks to improve judicial efficiency and optimise case management procedures.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Justice Musarrat Hilali has been appointed as the oversight judge for anti-terrorism courts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Justice Malik Shehzad Ahmed Khan will oversee the anti-terrorism courts in Punjab, and Justice Muhammad Hashim Kakar will take charge of those in Balochistan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In Sindh and Islamabad, Justice Salahuddin Panwar and Justice Aamer Farooq, respectively, will serve as the oversight judges for similar courts.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Justice Jamal Mandokhail has been designated to head the Supreme Court Building Committee, with justices Shafi Siddiqui and Aamer Farooq as committee members.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;CJP Afridi will lead the IT committee, which includes justices Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Justice Hassan will lead the Research Center Committee, with Justices Siddiqui and Farooq serving as members.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Justice Mazhar has been appointed to head the Law Clerk Program Committee, with Justice Aurangzeb as a member.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At least five judges have been assigned to hear chamber appeals. The appointed judges are CJP Afridi, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Kakar, Justice Panhwar, and Justice Shakeel Ahmed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Justice Rizvi will lead the Supreme Court Archive and Museum Committee, with Justice Salahuddin Panhwar and Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb as members.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Committee for Immediate Justice and Model Courts will now be headed by Justice Shehzad, with Justice Kakar, Justice  Panhwar, and Justice Ibrahim as members.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Moreover, Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim has been appointed as the security judge, overseeing security matters related to the Supreme Court building, branch registry, and judges’ colony.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Justice Aurangzeb will coordinate the UK-Pakistan protocol for family and child custody cases.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A committee formed to check the quality of uniforms for SC staff has been dissolved. The SC registrar has issued separate notifications regarding all committee formations and appointments.&lt;/p&gt;
