Under the first phase of this project, 1,892 plots will be distributed across 22 districts through 33 different schemes.

Breakdown of plot distribution in the first phase

According to the government’s plan:

• Rawalpindi Division: 658 plots in 5 schemes across 4 districts.

• Faisalabad Division: 288 plots in 4 schemes across 5 districts.

• Lahore Region: 518 plots in 5 schemes across 3 districts.

• Bhakkar Region: 131 plots in 7 schemes.

• Multan Region: 270 plots in 9 schemes across 5 districts.

• Bahawalpur Region: 27 plots in 3 schemes.

Maryam Nawaz’s vision

CM Maryam Nawaz has ordered immediate implementation of the scheme, emphasising that her dream is for every citizen of Punjab to have a home.

She stated that providing land to underprivileged individuals is not an act of charity but the government fulfilling its responsibility.

This initiative could be a significant relief for Punjab’s homeless population, offering them a chance to secure a permanent roof over their heads.
