After the removal, the Mumbai Police summoned both Allahbadia and Raina for questioning related to the controversy.

A parliamentary committee “was considering sending a formal notice to Allahbadia concerning his remarks,” reports said.

A senior adviser to the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Kanchan Gupta, said on X that the episode was blocked due to government orders, sharing a screenshot indicating its unavailability on YouTube.

Allahbadia, on his BeerBiceps channel, sparked outrage after posing an inappropriate question to a contestant on the show. The question prompted demands for “stricter regulations” on online content.

In light of the controversy, Allahbadia has issued an apology, acknowledging that “his comments were not only inappropriate but also unfunny.” He emphasised that he does not consider comedy his “strong suit.”

The Mumbai Police is the investigation agency in the case and have received complaints against several individuals involved in the episode, including YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani and influencer Apoorva Makhija, also known as The Rebel Kid.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also weighed in, stating that while freedom of speech was important, it should not infringe upon the rights of others, calling for action against those who violate societal norms regarding decency.
