She departed from Karachi airport at 10:40 PM, under the supervision of officials from the US Consulate and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). Robinson is expected to arrive in New York on February 8.

According to sources, hospital staff at Jinnah Hospital, where Robinson had been undergoing treatment in the psychiatry department for several days, have been instructed to prepare her discharge papers. US Consulate officials met with Robinson in her private ward at the hospital and facilitated her return.

Robinson flew from Karachi to Dubai. She was scheduled to depart Dubai for New York at 2:35 AM on February 8th, arriving at 8:15 AM the same day.

She underwent various tests at Jinnah Hospital, and her return is contingent upon her medical reports. Her trip to Karachi was reportedly motivated by a romantic relationship with a Pakistani man.
