Recent reports have emerged indicating that Farah Khan is currently developing a story for a sequel titled “Main Hoon Na 2” which will be produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, the production company founded by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan.

A source close to the project revealed that “Main Hoon Na” was the inaugural film of Red Chillies Entertainment and holds a special significance for the couple.

Farah Khan has crafted an exciting concept for the sequel, which has garnered Shah Rukh Khan’s approval.

At present, Farah Khan is collaborating with her team and the writers at Red Chillies to finalize the screenplay.

According to insiders, Shah Rukh Khan is highly enthusiastic about the sequel but is awaiting the completion of the script. He aims for the new film to surpass the original in its impact.

If “Main Hoon Na 2” materializes, it will be the fourth project featuring the collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan, following their previous successes: “Main Hoon Na” , “Om Shanti Om” and “Happy New Year”.

In addition to this exciting new venture, Shah Rukh Khan is also scheduled to appear in the upcoming film “King” directed by Siddharth Anand, set for release in mid-2025. He is concurrently working on “Pathan 2”.
