Under the initiative, the provincial government would provide Rs10,000 to each selected family during the holy month.

As per details, 5,000 families would be chosen from each of the 115 constituencies across the province.

The selected families would receive a Rs10,000 cheque in the first 10 days of Ramazan.

To ensure fair distribution, the government has assigned different departments to oversee the selection process.

A total of Rs8 billion would be allocated for the Ramazan package, sources said and added that the entire distribution process would be monitored from the Chief Minister’s House.
