In a recent update to its FAQs under the section titled “2025 Subscription Plan Pricing Changes,” the company stated, “To bring you even more content and new features, we’re updating the price of select Amazon Music Unlimited plans.”

The ad-free Amazon Music Unlimited service, which boasts 100 million songs along with thousands of expertly curated playlists and stations, competes directly with popular services like Spotify Premium and Apple Music.

It will start from January 29, the monthly cost for an individual Amazon Music Unlimited plan for Prime members will rise from $9.99 to $10.99 while the annual fee will increase from $99 to $109.

For non-Prime customers, the monthly subscription will go from $10.99 to $11.99.

The family plan allows access for up to six accounts would see its price hike from $16.99 to $19.99 per month, or from $169 to $199 annually.

New customers would have the updated pricing immediately while existing subscribers would see the changes reflected in their next monthly renewal after March 5, 2025. This marks Amazon’s second price increase for its streaming music services within six months, following a prior adjustment in August 2023.

Amazon Music Unlimited recently enhanced its offerings by allowing subscribers to enjoy one audiobook per month from Audible’s vast catalogue of over one million titles. The service still provides a 30-day free trial for new users.
