The police have detained her father, uncle, and maternal uncle on suspicion, initiating an investigation into the case.

Hira was targeted at the main entrance of her home on Balochi Street, where she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

Authorities quickly arrived and transported her body to a hospital, where it was later released to her family following a post-mortem examination.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Hira held American citizenship and had just returned to Pakistan with her parents a few days ago.

Police sources told Aaj News that Hira was warned against shooting and publishing TikTok videos but she refused to listen. This enraged her father and other male relatives.

SHO Babar Baloch from Gwalmandi confirmed that the suspects have confessed to their involvement in the crime. He elaborated that Inwar-ul-Haq, Hira’s father, had moved to the U.S. with his family. He just returned to Quetta a few days ago.

It is alleged that he conspired with his brother-in-law, Tayeb Ali, to carry out the murder. While Hira was taken outside, her maternal uncle reportedly shot her before the suspect returned inside.

Following the incident, the police arrested Inwar-ul-Haq, along with the maternal uncle and uncle, on suspicion.
