This initiative was announced by His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State and Chairman of the Health Advisory Committee for International Development, during the recent COP28 climate conference held in Dubai.

Sheikh Shakhbout highlighted the strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and Angola, particularly in the health sector, which faces substantial challenges due to inadequate infrastructure and facilities.

He emphasized that improving healthcare standards is a key priority for the UAE’s foreign aid programs.
