Ali dismantled the West Indies batting lineup with his deceptive deliveries, helping Pakistan strengthen their position in the second Test of the home series.

He achieved his hat-trick in the 12th over after the West Indies won the toss and chose to bat on a spin-friendly pitch. He first dismissed West Indies cricketer Justin Greaves with his very first ball of the over, bringing West Indies cricketer Tevin Imlach to the crease.

However, Imlach lasted just one ball before being caught LBW by Ali, leaving him with a golden duck.

Ali then went on to dismiss another West Indies player Kevin Sinclair, completing his historic hat-trick and becoming the first Pakistani spinner to accomplish this feat in Test cricket.

The West Indies faced a challenging situation after choosing to bat first. Noman Ali claimed the first wicket of the second PAK vs WI Test in the second over of the tourists’ innings.

The left-arm spinner Sajid Khan took two wickets, while debutants Kashif Ali and Abrar Ahmed each grabbed one, leaving West Indies struggling at 54 for the loss of eight wickets.
