The price of gold has increased by Rs2,900 per tola nationwide. According to details released by the Sarafa Association, the price of one tola of gold has reached an unprecedented Rs289,600.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has risen by Rs2,486, reaching Rs248,285.

The surge is attributed to a global increase in gold prices, with the international price rising by $29 to reach $1,772 per ounce. This significant jump marks a new peak in gold prices in Pakistan’s history.
