The scrutiny committee, led by Government College Gulistan-e-Jauhar Senior Professor Naeem Khalid, has prepared a report affirming that “everything was conducted properly during the intermediate exams.”

The committee, including all head examiners, reviewed approximately 250 papers and concluded that the marking was satisfactory. It issued a report with no issues with the results.

A 15-member committee from the Sindh Assembly has also convened a meeting to address the situation. Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah stated it would review the students’ complaints.

Leader of Opposition in the Sindh Assembly Ali Khurshidi emphasised that the committee was formed with the students’ futures in mind.

Despite such reassurances, many 11th-grade students in Karachi protest against the exam results.

BIEK Chairman Ameer Qadri was removed from his position on Friday, January 3, following students’ concerns over the Part-I results.

The scrutiny fee was reduced by 50%, now costing Rs500 per paper.
