“A short time from now, we will be changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and we will be restoring the name of a great president, William McKinley, to Mount McKinley, where it should be and where it belongs.”

In a video clip that went viral on X, the former secretary of state was seen laughing heartily at Trump’s comments, with several other audience members visible behind her also chuckling.

Fans have reacted to Clinton’s reaction as one stated, “Fair enough” while another also agreed with him saying, “I could watch this all day.”

“She gets it,” raved another X user.

It is not the first time Trump has mentioned such a thing. He also spoke about it earlier this year.

“We’re going to be changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America,” Trump said during a press conference on January 7.

“Which has a beautiful ring. That covers a lot of territory. The Gulf of America, what a beautiful name. And it’s appropriate. It’s appropriate. And Mexico has to stop allowing millions of people to pour into our country,” he added.

The Gulf of Mexico is among the largest and most significant bodies of water in North America. It ranks as the ninth-largest body of water globally, spanning approximately 600,000 square miles.
