The rest of the country is expected to experience cold and dry weather conditions, the Met Office said in its update for Tuesday (today)

Areas including Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Naran, Kaghan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, and Gilgit-Baltistan expected to have snowfall, which may lead to road closures and slippery conditions, potentially disrupting traffic flow.

In the morning and evening hours, light to moderate fog is expected to blanket most districts of Punjab and upper Sindh.

Light rain and snowfall occurred in parts of Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir. Light to moderate fog was reported in southern districts of Punjab over the last 24 hours.

The highest recorded rainfall in millimetres includes 2mm in Qalat, 1mm in Gwadar and Quetta; 8mm in Bagrot, 3mm in Bunji, and 1mm each in Gilgit and Astore; 7mm in Pattan, 6mm in Kalam and Balakot, 5mm each in Bannu and Chitral, 4mm in Malam Jabba, 2mm in Saidu Sharif and both Lower and Upper Dir, and 1mm in Mirkhani from KP; and in Kashmir, 7mm in Muzaffarabad city, 5mm at the Muzaffarabad airport, 2mm in Garhi Dupatta, and 1mm in Rawalakot.
