According to an FIR filed by LESCO SDO Muhammad Asghar, a routine inspection uncovered irregularities with the salon’s electricity meter, indicating theft. When confronted, Ahmad’s wife contacted her husband, who arrived with several accomplices in a black van.

The ensuing altercation resulted in Ahmad allegedly seizing the meter from a LESCO staffer, Shahid Khan, and giving it to an accomplice, Adeel, who fled the scene.

The FIR alleges that the meter tampering caused significant financial losses to the national exchequer and obstructed LESCO’s official duties. Several LESCO employees sustained injuries during the incident and required medical treatment.

Ahmad and his four accomplices are facing charges related to assault and obstructing official duties. The investigation is ongoing.
