The son of the legendary leg-spinner Abdul Qadir represented Pakistan in one ODI and 25 T20Is, accumulating a total of 32 wickets.

The 31-year-old leg-spinner has a history of playing in the Big Bash League, having played for the Perth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers. He has also been a part of South Australia and the Prime Minister’s XI.

Despite retiring from Pakistan cricket in October 2024, Qadir remains hopeful about his future in Australian cricket. “Cricket is my livelihood. I have come to Australia with future plans and am determined to explore good opportunities here,” he said in a social media post.

While reflecting on his retirement, Qadir shared his gratitude for the support he received throughout his career, stating, “It has been an immense honour to represent my country.”
