The agreement was finalised during the four-day International Hajj Conference in Jeddah, attended by Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Chaudhry Salik and the Saudi minister of Hajj.

As part of the agreement, 189,210 Pakistani pilgrims are set to perform Hajj this year.

Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq bin Fawzan al-Rabiah assured the minister of providing improved facilities for Pakistani pilgrims.

The Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs has outlined several new measures to ensure a more comfortable experience for these pilgrims. Key initiatives include:

• Dedicated spaces: Pilgrims will have access to designated areas in Mina at reduced rates to improve affordability.

• Flexible Hajj duration: A new 20-25 day Hajj program allows pilgrims to customise their schedules.

• Accommodations in Medina: Pilgrims can choose to stay in Medina for four to eight days, with options tailored to their preferences.

• Personalised kits: Each pilgrim will receive a specially designed bag featuring the Pakistani flag, a QR-coded identity tag, and essential information.

• Mobile application: A dedicated app will offer live maps, locations, and important updates to enhance the overall Hajj experience.
