The first Test would take place in Multan from January 17 to 21, followed by the second Test from January 25 to 29.

In their announcement, the PCB noted that seven changes have been made to the team that recently faced South Africa.

Among the notable inclusions are off-spinner Sajid Khan and mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed, who will join left-arm spinner Noman Ali in the spin department.

Openers Imamul Haq and Mohammad Huraira have been reinstated to the squad, replacing the injured Saim Ayub and underperforming Abdullah Shafique.

The PCB has decided to rest its pace quartet comprising Aamir Jamal, Mohammad Abbas, Mir Hamza, and Naseem Shah. To fill such spots, the selectors have retained Khurram Shahzad, brought back Mohammad Ali, and introduced uncapped fast bowler Kashif Ali.

Moreover, former Pakistan U19 and Shaheens captain Rohail Nazir has been selected to replace the injured wicketkeeper-batter Haseebullah in the squad. The reshuffling aims to strengthen the team ahead of the two ICC World Test Championship matches against the West Indies.
