In December 2024, Toyota filed a trademark application for the name “Hilux Travo” with Thailand’s Department of Intellectual Property, signaling its intent to introduce this new iteration of the iconic pickup.

The spy photos show a test unit with camouflage on the front and rear, while the sides remain exposed.

This design suggests significant updates are underway, particularly at the front and rear, although the side body panels appear similar to the current model.

The new Hilux may be considered either a major facelift or a completely new model, reflecting Toyota’s recent design strategies.

The images align with earlier renderings, showcasing a reimagined front fascia, including redesigned fenders, a new hood, an updated bumper, and fresh headlights.

Camouflage also covers enhancements at the rear, including potential upgrades to the tailgate and taillights, as well as practical features like an integrated step in the rear wheel arches.
