Martin Guptill has officially confirmed his retirement from international cricket, with his last appearance for New Zealand occurring in October 2022.

The 38-year-old batsman will continue to participate in T20 leagues globally, including the ongoing Super Smash tournament in New Zealand, where he represents Auckland.

He has also signed up for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) draft, with Islamabad United having the option to retain him.

In T20 internationals, he remains New Zealand’s highest run-scorer, with 3,531 runs at an average of 31.81 and a strike rate of 135.70.
