Expatriates from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain can apply for an eVisa or obtain a visa on arrival if they meet specific professional criteria.

Eligible professions include doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, journalists, and more, with qualifications determined by the profession listed on the applicant’s Emirates ID.

To apply, residents must provide a passport valid for at least six months, a recent passport-sized photo, and proof of accommodation in Kuwait.

Applicants can complete the process online by creating an account, filling out the necessary information, and paying a fee that typically starts at around 3 KWD (approximately AED 36).

The tourist visa is valid for 30 days from the date of issue and allows for a maximum stay of up to 90 days.

Nationals from several countries are also eligible for visa-on-arrival options.
