At a press conference on Monday, Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind stated that the chief minister had taken serious notice of the ongoing blockages by political parties and other groups, which have caused major inconvenience for travelers, particularly those using coaches and other forms of transport.

Rind emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing public issues and facilitating ease for citizens. He noted that the chief minister had previously recognized peaceful protest as a fundamental democratic right. However, he stressed that while the government supports citizens’ rights to express their concerns, it will not permit the obstruction of national highways, as it severely impacts public mobility.
