In a recent YouTube discussion with activist Noa Tishby, Kunis said that she has fallen in love with her heritage since marrying Kutcher.

She noted that Kutcher, who grew up Catholic but has practised Kabbalah, has influenced her perspective on Judaism.

“I fell in love with my religion because he explained it to me,” she stated, that being Jewish is a personal journey where individuals can choose what resonates with them.

The Black Swan actor, who was born and raised in a Jewish family in Ukraine, mentioned that she was told never to discuss her Jewish identity, which led her to view it more as a cultural background.

She humorously recalled, “I think I was raised with a lot of guilt,” adding that her upbringing instilled a strong connection to food as a source of comfort.

Now, as a mother to two children—Wyatt and Dimitri—Kunis said that she was eager to explore their Jewish traditions.
