The decision, recommended by the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) for the South Zone, was confirmed by Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hasan Naqvi, through an official notification.

The restrictions include a prohibition on carrying, displaying, or brandishing weapons, along with bans on aerial firing and the use of firecrackers.

These measures will be in effect on December 31 (Tuesday) and January 1 (Wednesday). Authorities have warned that strict action will be taken against those who violate these regulations.
