Renowned actor and vocalist Talat Hussain passed away on May 26, at the age of 83.

This year also saw the departure of beloved comedic actor Sardar Kamal, who died at 52.

Celebrity chef Naheed Ansari succumbed to breast cancer in July.

Singer and musician Hania Aslam suffered a heart attack and passed away on August 11.

Acclaimed director Altaf Hussain, known for his work on over 80 films, died in Lahore on September 16.

Senior actor Mazhar Ali passed away on October 8 at the age of 70, followed by actor and comedian Abid Kashmiri, who died on October 11 at 74.

Musician and tabla player Ustad Tafoo also left us on October 26 in Lahore.
