Karachi is experiencing a significant drop in temperature as Siberian winds sweep through the city, creating a sharp chill in the air. Despite these conditions, nighttime temperatures are expected to remain between nine and eleven degrees Celsius.

The cold spell is affecting various parts of the country, with Murree’s landscape enhanced by a fresh layer of snow. Layyah recorded the lowest temperature at -9 degrees Celsius, followed by Skardu at -8, Quetta at -5, and Kalat at -4.

Northern Balochistan is also feeling the chill, with temperatures in Quetta dropping to minus five degrees. In Punjab, including Lahore, recent rainfall has further contributed to the cold, with the Pakistan Meteorological Department predicting additional drops in temperature. In Iqbal Town, temperatures are expected to range from four to six degrees Celsius.
