      <title>Cabinet Division releases list of public holidays in 2025</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Cabinet Division has released the calendar of public and optional holidays for the year 2025.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the calendar, the first holiday will be on February 5, followed by Pakistan Day on March 23.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The government is expected to announce three holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr in March, while May 1 will be observed as Labour Day.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Youm-e-Takbeer on May 28 will also be a holiday.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Holidays for Eid-ul-Azha will follow, with Ashura observed on Muharram 9 and 10 falling on July 5 and 6. Independence Day will be celebrated on August 14 and will also be a holiday.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The government has also declared a holiday for Eid Milad-un-Nabi in Rabi-ul-Awwal which will fall on September 5 and 6.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Holidays will also be declared on Iqbal Day on November 9. The final public holiday of 2025 will be on December 25 for Chirstmas/Quaid-e-Azam day.&lt;/p&gt;
