The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has indicated that a western wind system, which began two weeks ago, will persist, potentially bringing temperatures down to single digits over the next three days.

Currently, sea breezes are inactive, with winds blowing from northeast Balochistan. A change in wind direction is anticipated to significantly affect weather patterns in both rural Sindh and urban areas, including Karachi.

PMD has specifically warned that regions like Tharparkar and Umarkot will experience intensified cold in the days ahead.
