The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa finance department has issued a notification to all government departments instructing them to disburse the payments to Christian government employees.

This measure is intended to allow Christian employees to celebrate Christmas comfortably.

Christmas, celebrated on December 25 worldwide, including in Pakistan, is the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ. It is a time of festivities, marked by the preparation and exchange of cakes, chocolates, and candies.

The Christian community considers Christmas a festival of joy, peace, and love, with the sharing of sweets adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
