Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, CEO of KW&SB, confirmed that the quota for subsidized water tankers has been raised. A new 24/7 service has been launched at all official hydrants, allowing citizens to book water tankers at any time.

To facilitate ongoing repair work, KW&SB has temporarily suspended commercial tanker services for three days, particularly affecting areas around University Road. During this period, water tankers will continue to be provided under the General Public Service, including for residential flats.

The Hydrants Cell In-charge emphasized the importance of obtaining computerized e-slips when requesting water tankers. Citizens are encouraged to report any instances where tanker operators fail to issue these e-slips.

For added convenience, KW&SB has made contact numbers for all official hydrants available to the public. These efforts aim to enhance transparency, ensure fair distribution, and improve access to water services during critical infrastructure work.
