This approval was granted during a meeting of the Central Development Working Party (CDWP), marking a significant advancement in the project’s execution.

Kinza Murtaza, the Director General of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), noted that considerable progress has been made, including the launch of girder work on the flyovers, which is a major milestone in the construction process.

The Ring Road, spanning 38.3 kilometers, will feature five interchanges at Banth, Chak Beli Khan, Adiala Road, Chakri Road, and Thallian.

Once completed, the project aims to alleviate traffic congestion in Rawalpindi and enhance the transportation network for the city.
