      <title>Winners of Rs40,000 prize bond for December 10 draw announced</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The State Bank of Pakistan has issued the list of the winners of the Rs40,000 denomination national prize bond draw held on December 10, 2024, in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;On the same day, the government also &lt;a href="https://english.aaj.tv/news/330392634/check-the-list-as-rs25000-prize-bond-winners-for-december-10-draw-announced"&gt;announced&lt;/a&gt; the numbers of all those lucky people who won the Rs25,000 denomination national prize bond draw. Last month, the government &lt;a href="https://english.aaj.tv/news/330389106/check-now-as-rs1500-prize-bond-winners-list-for-november-15-draw-released"&gt;issued a list of the winners&lt;/a&gt; of the Rs1,500 denomination national prize bond draw. It was held in Rawalpindi.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It was this year’s fourth draw for an Rs40,000 prize bond, shows the central bank data. Many people have invested in lottery bonds in the country to secure investment amid the changing economic situation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A lucky person holding the bond number 016364 has won the first prize of Rs80,000,000 while people holding bond numbers 442509, 540206, and 885708 won the second prize of Rs30,000,000 each.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Moreover, Rs500,000 each was awarded to 660 prizes. Below is the list:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Earlier this year, the federal government imposed a fixed tax of up to 20% on winnings from prize bonds and lotteries. According to media reports, a fixed tax rate of 15% would be applicable on winnings from prize bonds or crossword puzzles.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It has also imposed a 20% tax rate on winnings from raffles, lotteries, and prizes won from quizzes conducted for promotion of sales.&lt;/p&gt;
