The woman stated that she unexpectedly encountered her ex-husband in the market. He then assaulted her publicly due to an ongoing dispute and issued death threats.

According to a police spokesperson, the Virtual Women’s Police Station immediately dispatched officers to the scene. The woman had divorced the man two years prior, but he had continued to harass and threaten her even after the divorce.

Police acted swiftly, arresting the suspect based on the victim’s description. A case has been filed against him, and further legal proceedings are underway.
