This initiative aims to provide significant relief to electricity consumers in their December 2024 bills.

Under the new package, residential consumers will see reductions ranging from Rs11.42 to Rs26 per unit on additional electricity usage.

Commercial and business consumers are set to benefit from reliefs between Rs13.46 and Rs22.71 per unit.

Industrial consumers will also enjoy savings ranging from Rs5.72 to Rs15.05 per unit.
