&lt;p&gt;The project for the electric bus service has an estimated cost exceeding Rs7 billion. The Punjab government has released Rs4.7 billion for the initiative.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sources said that the proposed public transport route would consist of 10 routes.&lt;/p&gt;
