Judge Manzar Ali Gul announced the reserved judgment, dismissing the bail pleas. Barrister Salman Safdar, Khan’s lawyer, appeared in court.

The cases included charges related to the Jinnah House attack, the arson attack on Shahdaman police station, and the burning of police vehicles at Rahat Bakery Chowk and Zaman Park.

During the bail hearing, Barrister Salman Safdar argued that the public’s reaction to Imran Khan’s statements was a misinterpretation. He highlighted his extensive legal representation of Khan, stating he’d handled over 240 cases for him, encompassing a wide range of charges.

Safdar pointed out that the cipher case reached the Supreme Court, while other cases received relief from lower courts.

He further stated that judgments in approximately 30 cases have been ruled in Khan’s favor, with roughly 25 of those judgments available to the court. Safdar criticized the government’s inconsistent accusations, comparing their shifting narratives to ‘googlies’.

He highlighted the inclusion of Bushra Bibi in 12 cases, emphasizing the ease of making accusations and the difficulty of proving them.
