PMD predicts clear weather in Karachi

Karachi is expected to experience clear skies and bright sunshine over the next 24 hours, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The city will remain relatively warm, with the current temperature at 19 degrees Celsius.

The PMD forecasts a minimum temperature between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature ranging from 31 to 33 degrees Celsius.

Humidity levels are reported at 82%, with north-easterly winds blowing at 7 kilometers per hour.

However, despite the pleasant weather, Karachi’s air quality remains a concern. According to the World Air Quality Index (WAQI), Karachi is ranked second among the most polluted cities in Pakistan today, with particulate matter (PM2.5) levels reaching 213.

Lahore currently holds the unenviable top spot, with PM2.5 levels at 350, considered unhealthy.
